Audio Communication Issues

Applies To: Windows MultiPoint Server 2011

Symptom

No audio is heard in the headset when using some communication programs, such as Google Talk or Skype.

Cause

The MultiPoint Server system does not recognize the headset.

Resolution

Check to see if the audio device is assigned to a station: In MultiPoint Manager, click the Stations tab, and then view the device in the Audio column. Plug in the headset during the initial system startup, before the stations have been associated.
