RetailCreateSpecificLabel::main Method [AX 2012]

The main method which initializes the call for the other methods.

Syntax

Note

The syntax of this method varies based on the version of Microsoft Dynamics AX that you are using.

  Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3
client server public static void main(Args args, [boolean _supress_dialog])

Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 (SYS)
client server public static void main(Args args)

Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack (SYS)
client server public static void main(Args args)

Parameters

  • args
    Type: Args Class
    Retail catalog scheduler job record.
  • _supress_dialog
    Type: boolean
Boolean value, which shows suppress dialog state.

Remarks

Use the main class design pattern whenever a class is called from a menu item. Do not call the main method explicitly from the code; call it implicitly from a menu item.

Typically, you would:

  • Instantiate the class by calling the static construct method.

  • Call the prompt method to create a dialog box.

  • Call the run method, if the user clicks OK in the dialog box.
