Introducing the New System Center Website
We had thought the System Center website was pretty good such as it was; we had added a number of new features over the past few years on the heels of the big, infrastructure business-wide site redesign that happened in 2008. But by the time we hit the spring of 2009, we felt that the design and structure of the site had gotten quite stale and tired, and that it no longer met our business needs. So we took on the task of remaking our flagship site into something new--and hopefully, much improved.
So, about a year after we made our decision to move forward with a major overhaul of the site, we have unleashed a new creature on to the Web, one with a whole new "look and feel," which also succeeds--we hope--in consolidating 6 increasingly disjointed sites into one.
Watch this video, which includes a demo, for an introduction to the site redesign, and then let us know what you think. Our intention is for this to be an iterative project for which your feedback is a critical component of the site's long-term development.
See the new site in the same ol' location at http://www.microsoft.com/systemcenter.
