Woodland Trust part 2
In this second interview with Lionel Wilson, IT Director of the Woodland Trust, we'll be discussing some of the power savings and other efficencies they will achieve as they move into their new sustainable HQ building. While the building itself does have a lot of clever passive technology built into it, the migration to Remote Desktop Services and Hyper-V will also help them save 90% + of the power they are using now in their data centre.
This has been done for no more cost than a traditional approach as like any charity they are on a very tight budget.
