Kenon Owens on Integrated System Center Solutions
Kenon is a product manager in the System Center group. He was busy getting his demos ready for presentations at TechEd NorthAmerica when I dropped by, but he took some time to tell me what he was working on and give me a quick demo.
With Opalis, it's now possible for IT Pros to create workflows to automate common scenarios - integrating functionality from several System Center products.
In the demo I saw, Kenon showed how alerts from Operations Manager could automatically create service tickets in Service Manager, which could kick off a number of different actions - either turning on or even provisioning new servers to address increased workloads.
