Announcing the Springboard Series Tour with Stephen Rose
I had a chance to drop in to Building 37 and talk with Stephen Rose, just after the dates were announced for the North America Springboard Series Tour, which kicks off on May 2nd in Toronto and makes stops in 5 other cities before finishing up in Atlanta for TechEd.
If you're not familiar with the tour, it's a one day event that covers lots of new technologies from Microsoft with a focus on demos - showing you how this stuff works.
Some of the stuff Stephen said will be covered included Slate devices and management (both Windows devices and non-Windows), Intune and Office 365, MDOP tools like DaRT, MBAM, App-V and MED-V. There will also be sessions on locking down and managing Office 2010, as well as deploying Windows 7, including SP1 and IE9.
Stephen even gave me a scoop that wasn't on the Springboard Tour site yet - all attendees will receive a USB key with a bootable copy of DaRT on it, ready for attendees to take home and start using for all of their diagnostic and recovery needs.
You can find out more, including the cities and dates, as well as register, at www.springboardseriestour.com.
