CTO Norm Judah sat joined me on the Edge stage to talk about the things he's doing here at TechEd, and in his interactions with customers.
One theme he mentioned a few times is how solutions are built on People, Process, and Technology. He talked to me about the Foundational session he ran today at TechEd, which was about moving from Servers to Services, and how even though the technology changes, there's still a need for smart people and good process. Even though moving to cloud computing means job changes, much will stay the same.
We also talked about the Infrastructure Optimization model, and how evolving your processes within that model translates to real cost savings, and how moving apps to the cloud can rapidly help do that.
Finally, Norm shared some of the things he's from customers, and some guidance he gives them about having a goal in mind for your private cloud.
