Microsoft Virtual Academy: System Center 2012 Orchestrator & Service Manager–Overview (Part 1)
This module will provide an overview of the service management and automation functionality included in the new System Center product. We will discuss how the product can be configured for self-service, and how to configure workflows across data center and private cloud environments. We will review the new reporting functionality in System Center that allows the IT pro to maintain a consistent window into their environment using System Center’s business intelligence and dashboard capability. Further, we will explore how to roll out changes to your system using the advanced change and release management functionality in System Center. From this, we will show how Microsoft can help you build and manage Service Level Agreements for incident resolution, and thus provide the IT pro with expedited methods to solve challenging operational issues.
