Symon sat down with Senior Technical Product Manager Sean Christensen to understand how System Center Service Manager is being updated for the System Center 2012 release to help automate the management of service requests from business units and application owners. Sean talks about SM’s history, feature set and integration with SCCM, SCOM, Opalis (System Center Orchestrator), and Active Directory using its built-in connectors. Some of the improvements included a Service Catalog, change management workflows and custom reporting.
