Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization, or MED-V version 2.0 released earlier this month, and Tim Crabb, a program manager from that team, dropped by the Edge stage to give us a quick demo of the product.
MED-V gives IT the ability to manage what applications and URLs are opened in a managed virtual machine. Tim showed us what the end user experience looks like when apps or links are opened seamlessly in the virtual machine, and he walked us through the administrator process of creating and configruing a new virtual machine using the MED-V tools.
