Using the Application Compatibility Toolkit 5.6: Installing a Custom Patch using SDBINST Tool (Part 6 of 6)
Once you have created a fix for your incompatible application, the next step is to install the fix. However you may decide to deliver the custom database file to your client computers, the information contained in the database needs to be registered. In the following screencast, we’ll save the custom database, and then use the sdbinst.exe command line tool to register the fix information.
