One of the advantages of Windows Server 2008 is its built in support for Windows PowerShell. In this video Mark Wilson takes a look at using PowerShell to perform some basic operations on a Hyper-V workload. It is not intended as a demonstration of the features of PowerShell but is intended to show how straightforward it is to control Hyper-V using WMI from PowerShell and give the viewer enough information to develop the concepts further in their own environment.
