How to get Windows Server Datacenter Edition
Currently, all evaluation media is Volume Licensing media. This means customers and partners can acquire the media three ways:
Authorized MVLS users can download Datacenter Edition from https://licensing.microsoft.com.
TechNet and MSDN users, who have their subscriptions through Volume Licensing, can download Datacenter Edition from the TechNet and MSDN download sites.
The Datacenter Edition media was sent in the monthly EA and Select media kits, and TechNet and MSDN users, who have their subscriptions through Volume Licensing, received the DVDs with their monthly subscription kits.
Partners can also contact the Regional Support Centers to request media.
