Configure your router

Applies To: Windows SBS 2008

You must configure your router in the router management console.

Note

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To configure your router

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Network, and then click Connectivity.

  3. Click Internet connection, and then click View Internet connection properties in the task pane.

  4. On the General tab of the Properties page, click Manage router.

Note

Manage router is not displayed in the dialog box if you cannot manage the router in an Internet browser.

  1. Type the user name and password in the logon screen, and then click OK. The router management console opens in the Internet Explorer® browser.

  1. When you finish configuring your router, verify that you saved all changes, and then close Internet Explorer.

  2. Click OK in the Internet Connection Properties window.
