To Specify the Administrative Contact

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To perform this procedure, you must be logged on locally to the administration Web site with a domain user account that is a member of the Administrators group. As a security best practice, consider using Run as to perform this procedure.

The administrator specified in this procedure should be a local administrator on a server in the root cluster because the logged-on user must have permissions on the SubEnrollService.asmx file on the root cluster to provision a server in a licensing-only cluster. In the event that the user attempting to provision a server in a licensing-only cluster does not have permissions on this file, the user can send a request to the administrator designated in this operation to grant the user account the necessary permissions. The administrator's e-mail address is the RMS administrative contact. For more information, see "Setting Permissions on the Subenrollment Service File" earlier in this subject.
