Las actualizaciones en contexto entre arquitecturas (por ejemplo, de x86 a x64) no son compatibles.

Las actualizaciones en contexto entre idiomas (por ejemplo, entre en-us y de-de) no son compatibles.

Las actualizaciones entre ediciones (por ejemplo, del SKU de Windows Server 2008 Foundation al SKU de Windows Server 2008 Datacenter) no son compatibles.
