Add Impersonation Setting Dialog Box

Use the Add Impersonation Setting dialog box to specify the account that Web Playlists should impersonate on behalf of the client.

Path

Type the path of the secured folder that stores the media assets, or click the Browse button to locate the secured folder.

Logon method

Select one of the following logon methods that specifies how Web Playlists should locally log on for the client:

  • Clear Text. This logon method preserves the user name and password in the authentication package, which allows the server to make connections to other network servers while impersonating the client.

  • Interactive. This logon method is intended for users who interactively use the computer.

  • Batch. This logon method is intended for batch servers, where processes can run on behalf of users without their direct intervention. Credentials are not cached for this logon type.

  • Network. This logon method is intended for high-performance servers that authenticate plaintext passwords. Credentials are not cached for this logon type.

Set

Opens the Set Credentials dialog box where you can specify an account name and password that Web Playlists uses on behalf of the client.
