Add a DHCP Scope to a Superscope

You can use this procedure to add a scope to a superscope. To complete this procedure, at least one superscope must already exist at the applicable DHCP server.

Membership in the Administrators or DHCP Administrators group is the minimum required to complete this procedure.

To add a scope to a superscope

  1. Open DHCP.

  2. In the console tree, click the applicable scope.

  3. On the Action menu, click Add To Superscope.

  4. In the Available superscopes list, click the superscope to which you want to add this scope.
