FIM Portal Backup and Restore
Applies To: Forefront Identity Manager 2010
The FIM Portal configuration is stored in the FIM Service. Therefore, the FIM Portal configuration is backed up and restored with the FIM Service.
Important
If you customized the web.config file for the FIM Portal, be sure to back up and restore the web.config file, as shown in Recommended FIM Backup Schedule.
