Click Procurement and sourcing > Setup > Fixed assets > Business rules for fixed assets determination.
Use this form to create rules so that certain purchases must be treated as fixed assets if the purchase price of the item exceeds a monetary threshold. The monetary threshold for a legal entity can differ from the monetary threshold for your organization.
Your category manager must create procurement categories before you can assign a fixed asset rule to them. For more information about procurement categories, see About category hierarchies.
You must create organization-wide fixed asset identifiers, and then map them to the fixed asset groups for each legal entity before you can create organization-wide business rules for fixed assets. For more information about organization-wide fixed asset identifiers, see Organization-wide fixed asset identifiers (form).
