SetPortNumber Method (WMI MSReportServer_ConfigurationSetting Class)

Sets the port number of the report server instance.

Syntax

Public Sub SetPortNumber(PortNumber as Integer, ByRef HRESULT as Int32)
public void SetPortNumber (sint32PortNumber, out sint32 HRESULT);

Parameters

  • PortNumber
    The port number to use for the report service.
  • HRESULT
    [out] Value indicating whether the call succeeded or failed.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULT indicating success or failure of the method call. A value of 0 indicates that the method call was successful. A non-zero value indicates that an error has occurred.

Notes

When invoked, this method either adds or updates the URLs in the report server configuration file to include a port designator.
