Export Active Directory Configuration Settings

To export the configuration data for Windows EBS from Active Directory Domain Services to an XML file, use the Export Configuration Wizard. You can use the XML file to archive your configuration settings or to troubleshoot Windows EBS.

To export configuration data from Active Directory Domain Services to an XML file

  1. Log on to the Management Server with an account that is a member of the Domain Admins group.

  2. Click Start, point to All Programs, click Windows Essential Business Server, click Tools, and then click Export Configuration. The Export Configuration Wizard appears.

  3. Follow the steps in the wizard to choose a name and a location for the XML file that will contain the configuration data for Active Directory Domain Services.
