Restoring FPSMC

To restore Microsoft Forefront Protection Server Management Console (FPSMC) after a system failure, restore your SQL Server database first and then reinstall FPSMC by following the appropriate installation procedure for your environment. During the FPSMC reinstallation you will be asked if you wish to keep the existing data in the database. Select Yes.

In a primary/backup scenario, if you reinstall your primary server, you must then reinstall your backup server.
