Microsoft Asset Inventory Service (AIS) delivers an intelligent and comprehensive view of your enterprise’s desktop software environment. AIS helps reduce total cost of ownership of your application management lifecycle through advanced software inventory scanning and by translating inventory data into useful, actionable information.

If you are a Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) customer, activate your AIS subscription by logging on to the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service (MVLS) Web site. Find information about your AIS subscription in the Online Services section of the MVLS Web site.

If you have already activated your AIS account by using the MVLS Web site, open the AIS logon page.
