Configuration recommendations

Applies To: Unified Access Gateway

After publishing Exchange through the Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) portal, you should make sure that it is sized correctly for your intended deployment.

The following tables provide the recommended settings that you should apply for Outlook Web Access (OWA) or Outlook Anywhere.

Configuration recommendations for OWA (without Outlook Anywhere)

In the Forefront UAG Management console, next to Configure trunk settings, click Configure.

Configures the maximum number of connections to the Forefront UAG.

In the Forefront UAG Management console, next to Configure trunk settings, click Configure, and then on the Advanced Trunk Configuration dialog box, click the Session tab.
