You can use the Shifts form to look up closed shifts from stores. If some shifts did not post during statement posting, this form can help you determine the reason. Shifts have unique numbers and are associated with specific registers.

The information on the Details tab includes the information that is on X reports.

You can also use this form to look up previous Z reports.

  1. Click Retail > Inquiries > Shifts.

  2. To filter the list, follow one or more of these steps:

    • In the Store number field, select the store to view shifts for.

    • In the Register number field, select the terminal to view shifts for.

    • In the Shift from date field, select the starting date for the range of shifts to view.

    • In the Shift to date field, select the end date for the range of shifts to view.

  3. To view the details of a shift, select the shift, and then click the Details tab.

  4. To view the Z report for a shift, select the shift, and then click Z-Report.

  5. To view the transactions that are included in a shift, select the shift, and then click Inquiry. Then click the option for the type of transactions to view.

  6. To view the tax details of the transactions that are covered during a selected shift, click Shift tax transactions. These tax amounts are printed on the Z report.
