Obtaining updates and hotfixes

This topic describes how to find hotfixes or updates.

For Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, we provide general landing pages for hotfixes and cumulative updates on CustomerSource and PartnerSource.

You can also search CustomerSource or PartnerSource for Knowledge Base (KB) articles, and for information about hotfixes and updates that have been released. Search for the term hotfix or cumulative update. If you do not find information about the specific issue that you are experiencing, you can try one of the following options:

  • Open a support request by contacting your partner or value-added reseller (VAR).

  • If you are enrolled in a support plan directly with Microsoft, log on to CustomerSource, and submit a new support request.
