The Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 Management Pack supports the monitoring scenarios described in the following table.

Microsoft Compute Cluster Management service Microsoft Compute Cluster Scheduler service Microsoft Compute Cluster SDM Store service Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE) service Monitoring of critical events that are generated on head nodes by the Management, SDM Store, and Scheduler services. Monitoring of cluster performance thresholds, such as the number of queued jobs and the number of unreachable nodes in the cluster. Monitoring of overall cluster performance, using the most commonly used performance counter data. |
