The method that is used to uninstall an agent depends on how the agent was installed. This section includes methods for uninstalling agents that were installed either remotely by the Agent Manager or locally by using the manual agent setup program.
If you do not know how an agent was installed, open Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. If Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 Agent is listed, the agent was installed manually. Remotely installed agents are not listed in Add/Remove Programs.
