Change method
To change the value of this entry, double-click Display in Control Panel. Click the Effects tab, and then click the Show icons using all possible colors check box to use the maximum number of colors as determined by your display hardware and drivers.
Note
Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.
