Install Microsoft Online Services Migration Tools

Before you follow this procedure, ensure that the computer on which you are installing the tools meets the Migration Tools Prerequisites.

To install Microsoft Online Services Migration Tools

  1. In the Microsoft Online Services Administration Center, go to the Migrate tab and download and install the file called Setup Microsoft Online Migration tools.

  2. When prompted by Internet Explorer, click Run, and then click OK to start Setup.

  3. Setup checks for Windows PowerShell and the . If required, Setup also directs you to install prerequisites.

    When the license information appears, you must accept the terms to continue the installation process.

  4. After the tools are installed, Setup creates a Start menu item called Microsoft Online Migration Console and Microsoft Online Command Line in the All Programs group, under Microsoft Online Migration Tools.
