The topics in this section provide information about deploying a new installation of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 in your organization.

Before you install Exchange 2007 in your new or existing organization, make sure that your organization and servers meet Exchange 2007 requirements. For more information, see Exchange 2007 System Requirements.

For installing the various Exchange 2007 server roles on each server in your organization, see Deploying Server Roles. You can perform the installations by using the Exchange Server 2007 Setup wizard or from a command prompt (unattended mode).

In some situations, you may need to deploy Exchange 2007 in a multiple forest scenario, such as a cross-forest or resource forest scenario. In these cases, you must install Exchange 2007 in each forest and then connect the forests. For detailed steps about how to install Exchange 2007 and connect the forests in multiple forest organizations, see Connecting Forest Topologies.
