Example: Identifying Deployment Project Participants

Contoso Pharmaceuticals Corporation decided to deploy Windows Server 2003 Active Directory in their environment. They established a design team to begin the forest planning and deployment process. This team included IT personnel who were familiar with the existing network, all of the potential forest owners, the individuals who manage the corporate namespace, and the owners and administrators who will be responsible for the directory after the deployment project is complete. Some members of the Active Directory logical structure design team will be identified as the design process progresses. Figure 2.5 shows the worksheet that Contoso corporation completed to document the design team members who will begin the deployment process.
