Monitor Firewall - Advanced Properties

This view shows the following information for firewall rules that are being applied to this computer. These rules are the resultant set of rules that have been merged from Group Policy or Local Policy and any firewall rules specifically added to this computer:

  • User Authorization (This is the method used to authorize the user accounts associated with this exception.)

  • Computer Authorization (This is the method used to authorize the computer accounts associated with this exception.)

  • Interface Type (This is the type of network interface to which this exception is applied. The values are: Local Area Network, Remote Access, Wireless, or All connections.)

  • GPO Name (This is the name of the Group Policy object that includes the exception applied to this computer)
