Windows debugging and troubleshooting
Following on from Windows Crash Dump Analysis, this session details the further use of the Debugging Tools for Windows. The focus is on why Windows applications crash, what steps the operating system takes when they crash, and what troubleshooting steps can be taken to identify the cause. Also covered is how to deal with applications that hang without taking a dump. Additional techniques show the use of Application Verifier to track down hard to analyze crashes and application issues.
