Windows debugging and troubleshooting

The focus is on why Windows applications crash, what steps the operating system takes when they crash, and what troubleshooting steps can be taken to identify the cause. Also covered is how to deal with applications that hang without taking a dump. Additional techniques show the use of Application Verifier to track down hard to analyze crashes and application issues.
