Managing advanced malware inspection settings

Web traffic may contain malware (such as worms, viruses, and spyware). Forefront TMG includes malware inspection for scanning, cleaning, and blocking harmful HTTP content and files. When malware inspection is enabled, downloaded Web pages and files allowed by access rules may be inspected for malware. In addition to the malware inspection configuration settings that you can view and configure in Forefront TMG management, there are advanced configuration settings that you can view and modify only programmatically. These configuration settings include content delivery times, trickling settings, temporary storage settings, and protocol message definitions.
