FileVer Syntax

FileVer uses the following syntax:

Art Imagefilever [/s] [/v] [/e] [/x] [/b] [/a] [/d] [[[Drive**:**]Path]FileName]

Parameters

  • /s
    Displays files in specified directory and all subdirectories.
  • /v
    Lists verbose version information if available.
  • /e
    Lists executables only.
  • /x
    Displays short names generated for non-8.3 file names.
  • /b
    Uses bare format (no dir listing).
  • /a
    Specifies not to display file attributes.
  • /d
    Specifies not to display file date and time.
  • [[ Drive:] Path] FileName
    Specifies the file using the name and optionally the drive and path.
