Change server certificates for Message Queuing

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To change server certificates for Message Queuing

  1. Open Computer Management.

  2. In the console tree, right-click Message Queuing.

    Where?

    • Computer Management/Services and Applications/Message Queuing
  3. Click Properties.

  4. In the Message Queuing Properties dialog box, click the Service Security tab, and then in the Server certificate group box, click Select a Certificate.

  5. In the Choose MSMQ Server Certificate dialog box, select the applicable certificate, and then click OK.

  6. When prompted to restart Windows, click Restart Now.

Notes

  • To open Computer Management, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.

  • This task can be performed only from a Message Queuing server installed on a Windows Server 2003 family domain controller.
