Notes

  • To open Computer Management, right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.

  • This procedure is also applicable to the Message Queuing Triggers service. In this case, in StepĀ 3, double-click Message Queuing Triggers in the details pane.

  • Running the Message Queuing service under user accounts is not supported on domain controllers. Thus, the Message Queuing Downlevel Client Support service, which enables pre-Windows ServerĀ 2003 family clients to access objects in Active Directory, must run under the Local System account on domain controllers.

Information about functional differences

  • Your server might function differently based on the version and edition of the operating system that is installed, your account permissions, and your menu settings. For more information, see Viewing Help on the Web.
