In-place OLE activiation

Applies To: Windows 7

Applications should not make a hard binding to in-place OLE activation to Paint or WordPad. Applications that rely on Paint or WordPad being explicitly in-place OLE activated, may produce an error or experience unexpected behavior. If an application does not make a hard binding to in-place activation, Paint and WordPad automatically fall back to out-of-place activation and launch in a separate window.
