Add or change your profile photo

You can upload a profile picture to a Microsoft cloud service from your local computer that will appear in all services that display a photo.

Important

The profile photo is a visual representation of how you will be perceived by your coworkers. Make sure to choose the image you use with care.

More information The following steps can be completed using either the Office 365 account portal, the Windows Intune account portal or the Windows Azure AD portal, depending on which services your organization has subscribed to. In this way, portals act as front-end interfaces that pull in directory data associated with your organizations Windows Azure AD tenant. To add or change a profile photo:

  1. Depending on which portal you are using, in the header, click either My profile or click YourProfileName, and then click My profile.

  2. Click Change photo, click Browse to locate a photo on your local computer that you want to use as your profile picture, and then click Upload.

    Note

    Your photo cannot be larger than 100 KB and it must use one of the following file extensions:

    • .jpg

    • .gif

    • .png

    • .bmp

  3. Click Save. Your profile picture will appear in all services that display profile photos.
