Subscription Activation from a Key

This is the place to activate your TechNet subscription if:

 

You have a TechNet subscription activation card.   You purchased through the Microsoft Store and have a subscription activation key.

Steps to activate for new subscribers:

Set up your Account: Follow the link below based on your region. Your account information (name, email, address, etc.) plus your subscription activation key are required to set up your account.

 


Register: In two business days, we’ll send you an email with your Subscriber ID and instructions on completing your subscription activation so you can begin using your subscriber benefits.

 


Renewing subscribers:

Since your account is already set up, you will need to sign in at the regional site above using your name, email, and Subscriber ID. Then you can enter your subscription activation key to extend your subscription by another 12 months. Your new subscription expiration date will be reflected in the My Account page within two business days.
