Manually backup your server

The manual backup feature enables you to run a server backup at an unscheduled time using the backup settings that are configured for the server.

To backup up your server manually

  1. Log on to the Windows® Home Server 2011 Dashboard using the password that you established during the initial configuration of your server.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Computers and Backup, and then click the name of your server.

  3. In the Tasks pane, click Start a backup for the server, and then click Yes in the dialog box.
