Turn Remote Web Access On

Remote Web Access is not turned on by default. When you run the Turn on Remote Web Access wizard, the wizard attempts to set up your router and Internet connectivity.

Set up your router

If you change routers or change settings on the router, you must re-run the Set Up Your Router wizard.

Set up your domain name

After Remote Web Access is turned on, you can set up a domain name for your Windows Home Server 2011 server. This is a necessary step if you plan to access your Remote Web Access from a remote computer.

Customize Remote Web Access

You can customize you Remote Web Access by adding a personal logo or background image. You can also add links on the Home page that are available to all of your users.
