This message is sent by an application to retrieve the minimum allowable width, in pixels, of the list box of a combo box with the CBS_DROPDOWN or CBS_DROPDOWNLIST style.
Syntax
CB_GETDROPPEDWIDTH wParam = 0;
lParam = 0;
Parameters

Not used.
- lParam
Not used.
Return Value
The width, in pixels, indicates success. CB_ERR indicates failure.
Remarks
By default, the minimum allowable width of the drop-down list box is 0. The width of the list box is either the minimum allowable width or the combo box width, whichever is larger.
