Office Communications Server 2007 R2 提供了专用的管理工具，用于管理 Office Communications Server 2007 R2、响应组服务和 Communicator Web Access。在 Office Communications Server 2007 R2 中，必须独立安装管理工具。前端服务器上将不再自动安装管理工具。
安装的工具

- Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Microsoft 管理控制台 (MMC) 管理单元
- Active Directory 用户和计算机管理单元
- 计算机管理控制台管理单元扩展
- Communicator Web Access 管理单元

- Windows Server 2008 Standard 或 Windows Server 2008 Enterprise（64 位或 32 位版）
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition SP2 或 Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition SP2（64 位或 32 位版）
- Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2 或 Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition SP2（64 位或 32 位版）
- Windows Vista Business SP1 或 Windows Vista Enterprise SP1（64 位或 32 位版）
必需的系统更新
