Disable error reporting
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2
Open System in Control Panel.
On the Advanced tab, click Error Reporting, and then click Disable error reporting.
To have Windows continue to notify you when an error occurs, even when error reporting is turned off, select the But notify me when critical errors occur check box.
Notes
To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators group on the local computer, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. If the computer is joined to a domain, members of the Domain Admins group might be able to perform this procedure. As a security best practice, consider using Run as to perform this procedure.
To open System, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click System.
To open System from a command line as an administrator, type:
runas /user: computername \Administrator "rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL sysdm.cpl"
If your organization has configured Group Policy, you can disable error reporting by using the Group Policy Object Editor snap-in to configure the error reporting policy settings.
