Entry

Entries are the lowest level element in the registry. They appear in the right pane of the registry editor window. Each entry consists of the entry name, its Data Types in the Registry, and its value.

Entries store the actual configuration data for the operating system and the programs that run on the system. In this way, they are different from DfOfSubtree, DfOfKey, and DfOfSubkey, which are merely containers.

Entries are referenced by their registry path and name. The amount and type of data that can be stored in an entry is determined by the data type of the entry.
