Item requirements (form)

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Item tasks > Item requirements.

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. On the Action Pane, on the Manage tab, in the New group, click Item task. Then click Item requirement.

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > Project contracts. On the Action Pane, on the Maintain tab, in the Related information group, click Item tasks. Then click Item requirements.
Note
When no items are listed in this form, its title is Item requirements. When an item is selected in the form, the form title changes to Product name and reflects the name of the item.
Use this form to reserve an amount or number of items for a project in the item requirement, and then consume the items when it is needed.
An item requirement is a reservation of items for a project from the company's own inventory.
The system will create separate deliveries on separate packing slips. You can select multiple lines for inclusion on the same packing slip.

Project ID |
Select the identification of the project that the item will be associated with. |
Sales category |
Select a sales category for the item in the procurement hierarchy. |
Product name |
The name of the item that is selected in the Item number column. |
Item number |
Select the item number. |
Configuration |
Select an item configuration for items that can be configured with specific attributes. |
Size |
The size of the item. |
Color |
The color of the item. |
Site |
Select the site of the warehouse where the item is stored. |
Warehouse |
Select the warehouse in which the items are stored. |
Batch number |
The batch number for the item. |
Serial number |
The serial number for the item. |
Quantity |
The number of items in the sales unit. |
Line property |
Select the line property that the item transaction is attached to. Line properties define cost and sales percentages and options for revenue accrual and capitalization costs. |

Enter any additional information about the item. |
External |
Enter the customer's item number for the inventory item. |
Created date |
The date on which the record was created. |
Ship date |
Select the date on which the item will be shipped. |
Sales group |
The sales group for the selected item line. |
Line status |
The status where the purchase line is in its life cycle. |
Stopped |
Select this check box to stop updates for the current order line. |
Complete |
Select this check box to indicate that the item line must be delivered in full. If this check box is selected, no partial deliveries are permitted. |
Quality order status |
The status of the quality order that is related to the item requirement. |
Lot ID |
The item lot identification number. |
Reservation |
Select or view whether items are reserved manually or automatically. |
Deliver remainder |
Enter the number of items that are not yet delivered. |
Deliver now |
The number of items that are being delivered now. |
Invoice remainder |
The number of items that have been delivered but have not yet been invoiced. |
Overdelivery |
The percentage of items that were delivered in excess of the number that were ordered. If the number of inventory units for delivery is more than the number that was ordered, you can set the parameter Accept overdelivery in the Updates area of the Accounts receivable parameters form. |
Underdelivery |
The percentage of items that were not delivered. If the number of inventory units for delivery is smaller than the number that was ordered, but you want to mark the order as fully delivered, you can set the parameter Accept underdelivery in the Updates area of the Accounts receivable parameters form. |
Requested receipt date |
The date on which the customer originally requested to receive the order. |
Requested ship date |
The date on which the selling company should ship the order so that it arrives by the customer's requested receipt date. |
Confirmed receipt date |
The date that the selling company confirms that the customer will receive the order. |
Confirmed ship date |
The date that the selling company confirms that the order will be shipped. |
Mode of delivery |
Select the type of delivery. |
Delivery type |
Select whether the order line is a direct delivery. |
Delivery date control |
Select this check box to automatically calculate possible ship and receipt dates. |
Return lot ID |
The item lot identification number for items that are being returned. |
Return cost price |
The amount of the returned items in a single unit pricing. |
Scrap |
Select this check box if the return items are considered scrap. |
Main account |
Enter a ledger account number. You can record a sale directly in the sales account, regardless of any association the item group has with specific sales accounts in the posting setup for the item group. |
Item tagging |
Select this check box if the items must be tagged. |
Case tagging |
Select this check box if the cases must be tagged. |
Pallet tagging |
Select this check box if the pallets must be tagged. |
Delivery name |
The name or the organization name of the delivery address. |
Delivery address |
View or select the delivery address. |
Address |
View the formatted information for the selected address. This is the address that will appear on a printed document. The original address record may contain information that is not included in this view, depending on the specific country/region format. |
Item sales tax group |
Select the sales tax code that is used to calculate sales tax for the item. |
Sales tax group |
Select the sales tax code that is used to calculate purchase and sales tax for the item. |
Consumed |
The quantity of items that have been invoiced. |
Remaining consumption |
The number of items that have been delivered but have not yet been invoiced. |
Delivered |
The number of items that have been delivered. |
Deliver remainder |
The number of items that have not yet been delivered. |
Picked |
The number of items that have been picked. |
Reference type |
The module type that the current sales line will cover. |
Reference number |
The identification number of the production order line that the current sales line will cover or has covered. |
Reference lot |
The identification number of the purchase order or production order that will cover or has covered the current order line. |
Bar code |
Select the item bar code. |
Bar code setup |
Select the item bar code type. |
Transaction code |
Select the current transaction code. |
Transport |
Select the method of transport for the current order for Intrastat reporting. |
Port |
Select the port where the current delivery is loaded for Intrastat reporting. |
Statistics procedure |
Select the code for the current statistical procedure for Intrastat reporting. |
Triangular deal |
Select this check box if this is a triangular transaction. |
Country/region of origin |
The country or region of origin for the item. |
State of origin |
The state of origin for the item. |
Commodity |
The commodity identifier code for the item. |
Unit weight |
The weight of a single unit of the item. |
Sub-BOM |
Enter the identification of a sub-BOM. |
Subroute |
Enter the identification of a subroute. |
Product model number |
Select the product model number. |
Activity number |
Select the identifier for the project activity that the item is associated with. |
Category |
Select the identifier for the item category that the item is associated with. |
Sales category |
The identifier for the sales category that the item is associated with. |
Transaction ID |
The identifier for the project transaction that the item is associated with. |
Cost price |
The cost for a single unit of the selected item. |
Currency |
Select the currency that the sales price is recorded in. |
Unit |
Select the unit type that the item is sold in. |
Unit price |
Enter the sales price per unit. |
Net amount |
The total sales amount for the selected item. |
Service order |
The identifier of the service order that the item is associated with. |
Financial dimensions |
The financial dimensions that were set up in the Financial dimensions form. |
Where the %1 dimension is used |
The account structures and advanced rule structures that use the financial dimensions that you selected in the Financial dimensions or Default financial dimensions field group. Note The name of the field depends on the selection in the Financial dimensions or Default financial dimensions field group. |
Location |
Select the location of the item in the warehouse. |
Pallet ID |
Select the pallet identification for the item. |
