Order type

Select an order type. Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 then uses the selected type to create the sales order. If you do not want Internet orders to affect your on-hand inventory, select Journal; otherwise, select Sales order. For more information, see About sales order types.

Resting shopping cart

Specifies whether the shopping cart is available for later use by the customer.

View on-hand

Select this check box if you want inventory levels to be displayed in the Customer self-service module.

Show negative as zero

Select this check box if you want negative inventory levels to be shown as 0 (zero). If the field remains blank, and the View on-hand field is selected, negative numbers will be displayed.

Multiple

Indicates whether Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 checks that the quantity entered in the Customer self-service Web module is always divisible by the sales quantity that is set per item. Numbers are rounded according to the sales quantity. For example, if a customer orders 3 items and the set sales quantity per item is 2, the ordered items are automatically changed to 4.

Min. order quantity

Indicates whether Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 enforces the minimum quantity specified for the sale of an item.

Example

The minimum quantity for an item is 5. Five items are put in the shopping cart whenever a customer adds the item to the shopping cart.

Max. order quantity

Indicates whether Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 enforces the maximum quantity specified for the sale of a specific item.

Example

The maximum quantity is 100 items. No more than 100 items can be put in the shopping cart.
